Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account info: name, email address
- Google Ads data: read-only access to campaign metrics, keywords, ads, and performance data
- Usage data: pages visited, features used
- Payment info: processed by Stripe—we do not store card numbers

Google Ads Data
We request read-only OAuth access to your Google Ads account. We never modify your campaigns. Data is used solely to generate your audit reports. We do not sell your Google Ads data, and we only share it with the third-party processors listed below as required to operate the service.
AI analysis disclosure: portions of your Google Ads data (campaign performance summaries, keyword lists, search terms, ad copy) are sent to third-party large-language-model providers (OpenAI and Anthropic) to generate the audit's AI recommendations and analyses. These providers are bound by their own data-handling terms and do not train models on your data when accessed via their API.

Data Retention
We retain data while your account is active. On account deletion, data is removed within 30 days. Audit reports are retained per your subscription terms.
Third-Party Services
DetectivePPC relies on the following sub-processors to operate. Each handles only the data needed for its function and is bound by its own privacy commitments:
- Google (OAuth + Ads API): account authentication and read-only access to your Google Ads data.
- Supabase: managed Postgres database and authentication; stores your account info, encrypted Google credentials, and audit results.
- Stripe: subscription billing and payment processing; we never see your card number.
- OpenAI & Anthropic: AI analysis of audit data (see Google Ads Data section above).
- Sentry: error reporting and performance monitoring; may receive your user ID and account ID alongside stack traces, but never raw Google Ads metrics.
- Vercel & Railway: application hosting and infrastructure.

Your Rights
You have the right to access your data, request deletion, export data, and opt out of marketing emails. We are GDPR and CCPA compliant. To exercise these rights, email support@detectiveppc.com and we will respond within 30 days.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may also use analytics cookies (optional) to improve our service.
Changes to This Policy
